Huron-Wendat
Hurons prefer to call themselves "Wendat". Today, there is only one remaining Huron community in all of Canada, Wendake, formerly known as the Huron Village, established outside of Quebec City for 300 years. This community is known for its many tourist attractions promoting the cultural legacy of these dynamic traders. This is why the Wendat nation is recognized as the great traders people.
