Site archéologique Droulers - Tsiionhiakwastha
Erected toward 1450 on the summit of a hill close to a tream, this archeological site is the most important Iroquois villageof the St.Lawrence discovered to date. Archeologists have dsicovered the structural vertiges of dwellings and harvested more than 150,000 artifacts in successive digs. This village od Quebec's first farmers was occupied for 15 years. On the same hill, close to the archeological site, visitors can explore a reconstituted village with long-houses, palissades and gardens. In the company of a commentator, they discover life in a community before the arrival of Jacques Cartier. Come discover 15th century Iroquois life by participating in various activities offered over the course of the summer.
